Tariff Refunds
Share
Dear Khrysos Customers,
Over the past year, global trade conditions have created an unusually complex and unpredictable environment. As you may be aware, significant import tariffs were introduced last February, fluctuating widely and, at times, reaching exceptionally high levels.
Throughout this period, we made every effort to absorb these costs in order to maintain the pricing and consistency you expect from Khrysos. As conditions persisted, modest adjustments—generally limited to approximately 5%—became necessary to ensure we could continue delivering the same level of craftsmanship, materials, and service without compromise.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Court ruled these tariffs to be unlawful. However, while that decision is significant, the path forward remains unclear. At present, the government has not yet outlined how refunds will be handled, and new temporary tariffs have since been introduced, effectively maintaining current cost levels.
Looking ahead
While these temporary measures remain in place, we are unable to reduce pricing at this time. That said, we have initiated the process of pursuing refunds for tariffs paid during the period deemed unlawful.
Should those refunds be issued, it is our intention to return that value directly to you. We plan to provide a store credit equivalent to approximately 5% of your purchases made during the affected period. For example, a $1,000 purchase would result in a $50 credit to your account.
We are currently hearing that refunds could begin as early as late April, though no official timeline has been confirmed. We will continue to keep you informed as more information becomes available.
We are deeply grateful for your continued trust in Khrysos. Your support allows us to uphold the standards of quality and design that define our brand, even in the face of challenging circumstances.
Warm regards,
Khrysos Jewelry
